Phil Knott on photographing Daft Punk: "We met at their offices and shot on the streets. These were early days, as we can see by their translucent bank robber-type masks.  I shot them on a half-frame point and shot the camera. The effect looks like the frames from a movie camera.

So in 2021, I made a large collage of images from each of the film strips.  This was the first time I have taken them out of the negative sleeves, which have never been seen before). Daft Punk, end of an era"
