Tim Bret-Day on photographing Grace Jones: “If I’m honest, I think that’s probably my favorite shoot ever.  She started at 1am, and there were all these oysters, she had a certain vintage of red wine, and I thought ‘this is going to be really difficult’...and it was just the opposite. Next thing it's 10 o’clock in the morning, we shot all night, it flashed by. She was like ‘what if we cropped that like that, what if we did this, oh I love this, don’t let them use this’, but she didn’t inflict it on anyone, she didn’t say that’s the only shot, she just suggested stuff. It was just like wow, the person that walked in and the person that left, just really nice.”
