Photographed 2005 in New York, shortly after her trial.

Derrick Santini on photographing Lil' Kim: “This was a pretty major shoot, shortly after her trial. I sold them this idea of Lil’ Kim as Joan of Arc. So we did this medieval story, and this was her burning at the stake.  She was amazing, she didn’t have a huge posse with her or anything, just a few mates, and she was in really good spirits. What a character, really."
